고우리는 퍼지는 제형이에요. 그래서 만져진다면 재료 자체보다 어디에 어떻게 놓였는지가 원인인 경우가 대부분이에요. 한 층에 고였거나, 한 지점에 몰아 넣었거나, 눈밑처럼 피부가 얇고 움직임이 많은 자리라서 같은 양도 더 잘 만져지는 경우예요. 세 가지 모두 주입 설계로 줄일 수 있어요.

며칠째인지로 가르는 방법

• 0~3일은 부기와 멍이 섞여 있어서 판정할 시점이 아니에요.
• 3일~2주는 붉거나 아프지 않은 멍울이면 대개 층과 분포 문제예요.
• 2주를 넘겼거나, 조용하던 자리가 다시 붓고 단단해지면 성격이 달라요.

예방은 어떻게 하세요?

층을 먼저 정해요. 심부 진피층을 목표로 하고 그 층을 유지한 채 지나가요. 지점은 전안면에 고르게 나누고, 눈가나 입가처럼 얇은 자리는 양을 줄여요. 부위에 따라 캐뉼라를 쓰면 층을 유지한 채 넓게 지나갈 수 있고 멍과 혈관 위험도 줄어요. 순서를 바꾸면 총량만 맞고 분포가 어긋나요. 그래서 층이 먼저, 지점은 나중이에요.

만져지면 어떻게 하세요?

• 며칠째인지, 붉고 아픈지부터 확인해요.
• 붉지 않고 아프지 않은 초기 멍울은 대개 시간과 함께 부드러워져요. 저희가 직접 위치와 깊이를 봐요.
• 붉고 아프거나 열감이 있으면 기다리지 말고 오세요.

녹일 수는 없나요?

이게 제가 가장 솔직하게 말씀드리는 부분이에요. 고우리의 폴리카프로락톤은 히알루론산이 아니어서 히알루로니다제로 녹지 않아요. 되돌리는 주사가 없어요. 그래서 저는 처음부터 보수적으로 넣고 4주 뒤에 더하는 쪽으로 설계해요. 모자란 건 더할 수 있으니까요. 이게 제 습관이에요.

바로 연락하셔야 하는 신호

발적, 열감, 압통이 함께 있는 부기, 한쪽만 심해지는 통증, 피부색이 하얗게 또는 자주색으로 변하는 부위, 시야 변화, 그리고 2주 이후 새로 단단해지는 부위예요. 날짜를 세지 말고 연락하세요. 시술 후 첫 2일은 사우나, 격한 운동, 음주를 피하세요.

One-line answer: After a Gouri session, the first thing I ask is when the lump appeared. Within two weeks and not red or sore, it is usually a matter of layer and spread. After two weeks, or if it turns red, hot, or painful, or settles and swells again, it is a different situation and you should call right away.

Why do lumps happen after Gouri?

Gouri is a liquid that spreads. So when something is palpable, the cause is usually where and how it was placed, not the material itself. It may have pooled in one layer, been put in too few points, or gone into thin, mobile skin like under the eyes, where the same amount shows more. All three can be reduced by how the injection is planned.

How do you sort it by timing?

• Days 0 to 3: swelling and bruising are mixed in. It is too early to judge.
• Day 3 to 2 weeks: a small lump that is not red or sore is most often a layer and spread issue.
• Past 2 weeks, or a quiet area that swells and hardens again: this is different.

When someone contacts us, I ask two things first. How many days has it been, and is it red or sore? Those two answers send me in a direction almost every time.

How do I try to prevent them?

I pick the layer first. The target is the deep dermis and I stay in that plane as I pass. I divide the points evenly across the whole face and use less around thin areas like the eyes and mouth. Depending on the area, a cannula lets me cover a wide stretch in one layer and lowers bruising and vessel risk. If you swap the order, the total volume may be right but the distribution is off. Layer first, points second.

What if I feel a lump?

• Check how many days it has been and whether it is red or sore.
• A lump that is not red or sore and is early usually softens with time. We look at the position and depth in person.
• Red, sore, or warm means do not wait.
• Do not massage it hard on your own. If it is a layer problem, pressing can make the spread worse.

Can it be dissolved?

Here is the part I am most direct about. Polycaprolactone is not hyaluronic acid, so hyaluronidase does not dissolve it. There is no reversal injection. That is why I start conservatively and add at four weeks. You can always add what is missing. That is simply how I work.

Signs to call right away

Swelling with redness, heat, and tenderness; pain getting worse on one side only; skin turning white or purple; any change in vision; or a new hard area after two weeks. Do not count days. Call. For the first two days, avoid saunas, hard exercise, and alcohol.

Q. I feel something a few days after treatment. Is that okay?
If it is not red or sore, it is usually an early lump from product sitting in one layer, and it softens over time. I still prefer to check the position and depth myself, so please contact us.

Q. Does it happen more under the eyes?
Yes, the skin is thin and moves a lot, so the same amount feels more. Around the eyes and mouth I use less, and sometimes leave the area out.
